Sustainability is not achieved alone. Many of the challenges connected to human health, responsible business, climate change, resource management and ethical conduct require collaboration across industries, institutions and communities.

These partnerships and memberships help us strengthen healthcare knowledge, promote preventive health, uphold quality and regulatory standards, improve responsible business conduct, and support long-term value creation.

Challenges and Opportunities

Health, climate, water, supply chain and ethical business challenges are becoming more connected.

A health promotion program can support communities, but it also requires good content, professional knowledge and trusted partners. A climate initiative can reduce emissions, but it also requires technology, investment, governance and stakeholder dialogue. A responsible supply chain can protect quality and human rights, but it requires supplier engagement, standards and audits.

For MEGA, partnerships create an opportunity to expand impact beyond what the Company can do alone. Through collaboration with healthcare organizations, public and private sector partners, academic institutions, industry associations, suppliers and governance networks, MEGA can share knowledge, learn from others and strengthen how sustainability is practiced across the business.

At the same time, the challenge is to keep partnerships meaningful. MEGA aims to focus on collaboration that is connected to our business, our material sustainability topics and our purpose of helping people stay healthy as long as they live.

Why Partnerships Matters to MEGA

MEGA operates across many markets and serves people through health products, manufacturing, distribution, knowledge platforms and community programs. This gives us both responsibility and opportunity. We can contribute through our products, but we can also contribute through the networks we build and the knowledge we share.

Partnerships matter because they help MEGA strengthen the systems around health and wellness. Health camps, corporate wellness activities, digital health content and lifestyle medicine programs help people learn how to take care of themselves. Industry and professional memberships keep MEGA connected to technical knowledge, regulatory expectations and responsible business standards. Supplier engagement and audits help extend expectations on quality, human rights, health and safety into the value chain.

Partnerships also support MEGA’s long-term sustainability priorities. They connect our work with SDG 3 on health and well-being, SDG 8 on decent work and economic growth, SDG 12 on responsible consumption and production, SDG 13 on climate action, SDG 16 on responsible institutions and SDG 17 on partnerships.

Our Partnership and Membership Approach

MEGA’s partnership approach begins with relevance. We focus on relationships that are connected to our business, our sustainability priorities and the needs of people and communities.

In healthcare promotion, MEGA works through the Wellness We care Center to advance preventive health, lifestyle medicine and public health education. The Center collaborates with government agencies, private sector organizations, academic institutions and social enterprises to promote health awareness, reduce non-communicable disease risks and expand access to health knowledge.

In industry and professional engagement, MEGA participates in associations that support the healthcare, pharmaceutical, self-medication, food supplement, manufacturing and engineering sectors. These memberships help MEGA stay connected to technical developments, regulatory expectations, professional standards and industry dialogue

In governance, MEGA maintains its certified membership with the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption. This supports the Company’s commitment to ethical business conduct, anti-bribery and anti-corruption.

In the environment, MEGA strengthens climate and environmental action through renewable energy, environmental management, stakeholder dialogue and ISO 14001:2015 certification for the Environmental Management System at its Bangpoo manufacturing facility. MEGA also continues to manage water, energy, emissions and waste through its environmental management approach. Where collaboration can support climate protection and water stewardship, MEGA will continue to engage with relevant stakeholders and disclose progress transparently.

Climate Protection, Environmental Management and Water Stewardship

Environmental challenges require both internal discipline and external dialogue. MEGA addresses climate and environmental responsibilities through renewable energy, environmental management, resource efficiency, emissions reduction, waste reduction, water management and stakeholder engagement

The Company also received a Certificate of Honor from Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for the voluntary greenhouse gas reduction program related to rooftop solar electricity generation.

In climate action, MEGA continues to promote dialogue with stakeholders based on its climate-related disclosure and considers climate-related risks and opportunities from both mitigation and adaptation perspectives. Climate-related initiatives are managed through the risk management system and environmental management system and are reported to the Board at least once a year as part of sustainability initiatives.
