Challenges and Opportunities
Non-communicable diseases remain a major public health burden.
Many people face health risks from lifestyle patterns, limited preventive knowledge, stress, lack of physical activity, unhealthy diet, sleep imbalance and delayed behavior change. These challenges affect individuals, families, workplaces and healthcare systems.
MEGA sees this challenge as an opportunity to contribute where the Company has relevant strength. As a healthcare and wellness company, MEGA can help bring preventive health knowledge closer to people, support lifestyle modification, build health coaching capacity and work with partners to promote healthier communities.
The opportunity is not only to support one-time community activities, but to help people take ownership of their health. When communities gain practical knowledge and motivation to prevent disease, manage health risks and improve daily habits, the value created can continue beyond the activity itself.

Why Corporate Social Responsibility Matters to MEGA
MEGA’s purpose is to help people stay healthy as long as they live. Corporate Social Responsibility matters because this purpose extends beyond products. It also includes health knowledge, community engagement, preventive care and support for people to make better health choices in their daily lives.
MEGA believes in creating shared value by generating economic value while also creating social value. Our success is connected to the success of the communities where we operate. This is why our CSR work focuses on Human Wellness — supporting people’s economic, physical and social wellness through health education, lifestyle medicine, community programs, partnerships and accessible health knowledge.
For MEGA, CSR is not a separate activity from the business. It is connected to how we contribute our healthcare knowledge, resources and partnerships to society. By helping individuals and communities understand prevention, manage health risks and adopt healthier lifestyles, MEGA aims to create long-term value that continues beyond each activity.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility Approach
MEGA’s CSR approach is rooted in Human Wellness. Rather than treating community investment as a stand-alone activity, MEGA connects CSR with health promotion, disease prevention, lifestyle medicine, public education and partnerships.
The Wellness We care Center plays a central role in this approach. In 2025, the Center continued its mission to strengthen Thailand’s preventive healthcare system by adopting Lifestyle Medicine as its core academic and operational framework. The Center focuses on health promotion, disease prevention and the management of non-communicable diseases, while promoting practical behavior change in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep optimization and sustainable lifestyle habits.
The Center’s work also supports the development of health coaching professionals and the expansion of collaborative networks. This allows MEGA’s community contribution to move beyond activities and donations, towards learning systems, preventive health capacity and wider access to quality health knowledge.
Human Wellness Investment
MEGA believes in elevating public health and has invested continuously in Human Wellness initiatives. In 2025, investment in the Human Wellness initiative amounted to THB 18.93 million. From 2021 to 2025, MEGA invested a total of THB 107.52 million in this initiative.
This investment supports programs and platforms that help people learn about health, prevent disease, manage chronic conditions and adopt more sustainable lifestyle behaviors.

Community Support and Healthcare Access Innovation
MEGA’s community contribution also includes programs focused on specific communities and locations. The Company has disclosed community programs such as health screening, scholarships, donations, patronage for institutions, marathons in Vietnam and Myanmar, rice donation in Cambodia, sponsorship of pharmaceutical studies for the less privileged, and COVID care kits to reach various sections of society.
MEGA has also used innovation to support healthcare access. The Company implemented mobile applications to connect patients, healthcare professionals and pharmacies. The project was launched on a pilot basis in Myanmar and onboarded more than 14,000 patients to connect with the healthcare ecosystem. MEGA has committed approximately USD 10 million over the next 8–10 years for this project.
This shows that MEGA’s CSR contribution is not only about social support, but also about using health knowledge, technology and partnerships to improve access and connection within the healthcare ecosystem.
