Sustainability Engagement

The Human Resources Department continuously conducts environmental management training in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard to enhance employees' knowledge, skills, and awareness of environmental management. The training promotes the efficient use of resources, waste and pollution control, emergency preparedness and response, and active participation in environmental conservation. These environmental management practices form part of the Company's Employee Regulations, which are available on the Company's website and intranet to ensure convenient access for employees at all levels.

The training programs support the Company's environmental objectives, including reducing electricity consumption, minimizing wastewater generation, maintaining the Zero Community Complaints target, and promoting proper waste segregation.
In 2025, the Company provided more than 82,000 training hours for employees through a wide range of training programs covering essential knowledge and skills, including anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies, basic safety training, energy efficiency improvement, compliance with labor law requirements, and occupational health, safety, and working environment.
In addition, the Company organized three environmental management training sessions between July and August 2025. All directors, executives, and employees participated in the training and acknowledged their understanding of the relevant requirements, achieving 100% participation and acknowledgment.

To engage suppliers and employees in fostering supply chain sustainability, we hosted a Sustainability Workshop at our headquarters in Bangkok, featuring collaboration with BASF and sustainable packaging technology insights from SCGC. This event was designed to brainstorm ideas for advancing sustainability in our industry.
The CEO of Mega Lifesciences, Mr. Vivek Dhawan, addressed all the attendees, highlighting the importance and urgency of adopting and implementing sustainable practices and perspectives. He also presented the sustainable journey of MEGA, covering all dimensions of ESG. This workshop facilitated fruitful discussions with value chain experts from Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, Production, and Engineering from Mega, BASF & SCGC resulting in diverse perspectives and actionable insights.

Three key categories are the primary objectives of this workshop:
1. Raise Awareness and Engage Consumers:
Build awareness of sustainability in dietary supplements by participating in industry conferences and university roadshows.
2. Engage or Collaborate with Stakeholders:
Collaborate on the joint development and pilot launch of sustainable vitamin A & E and excipients for the market.
3. Sustainable Practices:
Technology/knowledge transfer to explore more sustainable packaging solutions to enhance our sustainability.
A group activity on these topics for the attendees recorded active participation and a strong understanding and commitment to sustainability ideas.

This workshop is a pivotal step in our journey from ideas to actions, demonstrating our commitment to a sustainable future.
MEGA has committed to continuing employee and supplier engagement activities and knowledge transfer to promote and encourage, to reach the mutual goal of sustainable development.
