Sustainability Engagement

To engage suppliers and employees in fostering supply chain sustainability, we hosted a Sustainability Workshop at our headquarters in Bangkok, featuring collaboration with BASF and sustainable packaging technology insights from SCGC. This event was designed to brainstorm ideas for advancing sustainability in our industry.

The CEO of Mega Lifesciences, Mr. Vivek Dhawan, addressed all the attendees, highlighting the importance and urgency of adopting and implementing sustainable practices and perspectives. He also presented the sustainable journey of MEGA, covering all dimensions of ESG. This workshop facilitated fruitful discussions with value chain experts from Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, Production, and Engineering from Mega, BASF & SCGC resulting in diverse perspectives and actionable insights.

Three key categories are the primary objectives of this workshop:

1. Raise Awareness and Engage Consumers:

Build awareness of sustainability in dietary supplements by participating in industry conferences and university roadshows.

2. Engage or Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Collaborate on the joint development and pilot launch of sustainable vitamin A & E and excipients for the market.

3. Sustainable Practices:

Technology/knowledge transfer to explore more sustainable packaging solutions to enhance our sustainability.

A group activity on these topics for the attendees recorded active participation and a strong understanding and commitment to sustainability ideas.

This workshop is a pivotal step in our journey from ideas to actions, demonstrating our commitment to a sustainable future.

MEGA has committed to continuing employee and supplier engagement activities and knowledge transfer to promote and encourage, to reach the mutual goal of sustainable development.
