Human Rights Training and Awareness

Human rights awareness is part of MEGA’s broader effort to build a workplace and value chain guided by responsible conduct. The Company does not treat human rights as a stand-alone policy only; it connects human rights with business ethics, anti-corruption, conflict of interest, information security, non-discrimination, anti-harassment and whistleblowing so that employees understand how these expectations apply in daily work.

In 2025, MEGA disclosed 90 hours of human rights training. Human rights was also included in the Company’s annual training for management and employees, together with Business Ethics and Code of Conduct, anti-corruption, conflict of interest and information security awareness. This training is intended to strengthen understanding of the Company’s guidelines, raise awareness and cultivate a commitment to maintaining high operating standards across the organization.

The training is also connected to MEGA’s policy framework. MEGA’s Human Rights Policy covers key issues such as child labor, forced labor and modern slavery, sexual and other harassment, collective bargaining, environment, health and safety at the workplace, community engagement, workplace security, drug safety, data safety, non-retaliation and whistleblowing. By communicating these expectations through training and awareness programs, MEGA aims to help employees recognize human rights-related risks, follow the right reporting channels and apply responsible conduct in their work and business relationships.
